It shapes how we express affection, what we find attractive in a partner, and how comfortable we are with intimacy and emotional vulnerability. A well-placed Venus often suggests someone who finds romance relatively naturally and enjoys the gentler things in a relationship.

What if Venus is weak or afflicted in my chart?

An afflicted Venus — for instance, one closely conjunct Saturn, Rahu, or Ketu, or placed in a difficult house — does not mean you are destined to be unlucky in love. It often simply points to certain patterns worth being aware of: perhaps a tendency to attract relationships that involve more distance or delay than you'd like, or difficulty expressing affection as openly as you feel it.
